This parade has deep symbolic meaning for the LGBTQ community at large. Pride is a celebration of the community’s positive stance against discrimination and violence toward lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) people to promote their self-affirmation, dignity, and equal rights. It is our aim to bring this message home to members of this community. Given the significance of this year’s meaning, the chosen theme is “Orgullo: A Story 50 Years in the Making.”
Join us as we tell the story of how Pride made its way to Eagle Pass.
